Using my extraordinary linguistic skills (Google translate) I have deduced that Régis le Bris translates as "govern the breakage". So, that must possibly mean something.

Regis is a fantastic name. I feel like it belongs to a character in a medieval times set tragedy rather than a 21st century Sunderland manager.

Backup GK signings are never going to get the blood pumping but it's signings like Moore that people have been asking for. He might not make an appearance for the club but his off field impact will be high.

He’s already talking about being excited to help Patterson progress.

I think people would like players in the middle somewhere.

That being said, it's a backup keeper. People moaning about it are just moaning for the sake of it in this case.

This is just the narrative that the club have asked local journos to put out. That's fine but to say we have waited for this manager for 3 weeks is not true. If that's the case why was Ronenior spoken too twice ?

I am happy it's coming to a conclusion and we absolutely have to back him. But let's not always swallow the press narrative control Safc play out. We have seen this all before with Pritchard and Still deals.

Fingers crossed this one works out.
