You've completely lost me there, I've no idea what you're on about ...

... I've no idea what a satire is tbh.

The account plays the role of the "racist gammon" stereotype, spelling things phonetically as if they're a bit thick, as well as being racist etc

Like watching a film and seeing an actor say the N word.

Is the tweet above, racist?

I know where you’re going with this but I really don’t think it’s worth the effort. Any sane person knows that using a persons skin colour to mock them is racist. Anyone denying this needs to check their morals and how they act in life.

I appreciate your candour, but we should just play along, if someone is brown and suffering? I drink their brown tears. Mmmm milk chocolate. Wanna play the game? Let's all play.

Hmm, that's too much like an internet game and something I'm not familiar with ...

... if it's not just normal conversation I'm a bit lost tbh.

Not sure this guy is even going to make it to the election. What a mess.

  • A police officer in the prime minister's close protection team has been suspended and arrested over alleged bets about the timing of the general election, the BBC can reveal

  • The Metropolitan Police were contacted by the Gambling Commission last Friday, who told the force they were investigating alleged bets

  • Last week, Conservative candidate Craig Williams apologised for placing an election bet

A candidate suspended by Labour after reports he shared "pro-Russian" material online has denied doing so - and claimed he has been "hung out to dry".

The party took action against Andy Brown over a 2018 article from the Russian state media outlet RT which questioned Russian involvement in the Salisbury nerve agent poisonings.

A separate shared post from the same time appeared to downplay allegations of antisemitism within Labour.

Mr Brown, who is standing in Aberdeenshire North and Moray East, insisted he would never endorse such views, and suggested his Facebook account may have been hacked.

Labour took quick action against Mr Brown, suspending him pending an investigation, after reports about the posts appeared in the Press and Journal, external newspaper.

Hopefully someone stops their boat/plane back and they get stuck in a country famed for its leniency towards asylum seekers.

Hard to calibrate my idea of England, a green and pleasant land of history, tradition, and culture with this sort of reality.

It's quite funny and also quite sad. I'm not really a fan of Australia and I really don't fit in here. I dream of coming home often but I think if I moved back I wouldn't much like England and wouldn't fit in there either.

Okay, I'll make this very simple. If I said "I drink black peoples tears" as a response to black people being unhappy about something, that wouldn't be racist at all, right? I'm thinking about adding it to my signature.

I got lost down an internet rabbit hole recently on the whole, it's not racist if it is racist towards white people thing.

I thought it was a bad joke.

I'm a "progressive" type but that is just nonsensical. I can't believe people state it with a straight face.

This strain of thinking is why the left are losing (Labour are not the left btw), especially with young men, it's also why they'll never really grasp what is happening because they think the right is simply abhorrent, make the worst caricatures of them and think of them so morally beneath them (scum, racist, evil, gammons, supremacists) that it's not valid to understand their grievances.

There's some polling showing Reform at 24% from yesterday and the Tories at 15% and we still have 2 weeks to go, strap in for a bumpy ride. I had pollsters at the door last weekend and just told them I'm undecided, I wonder if others are also doing that.

I don’t believe it matters what ‘wing’ you are on. Both are known for racism but that shouldn’t mean every individual is judged on that basis.

The extreme left = Hatred of Jewish people, a belief that other races prioritised over white people. Communism.

Extreme right = Hatred of people who aren’t white. Doesn’t want any immigration at all.

Both as dangerous as each other.

I've read through it carefully and I still don't know what either of them are talking tbh, and I'm not being obtuse.

The first post is about racists so perhaps he's talking about them, not white people in general ... no idea.

And why are these people crying, if it's because they can't get their own bigoted way that's one thing ...

... if this person is attacking decent people, and making them cry, that's totally racist.

But, unless I know who's crying, and why, I wouldn't really know for sure.

I do know it's idiotic though, he's thrown away his credibility with one ill thought out Twitter comment.

Progressive is great. It's driven positive societal change for centuries. Everyone should be progressive.

It's the whole 'woke' religion that's causing the problem. It's looking more and more like mental illness at this point.
