Still not seen any signing of a “No 7” that was a couple of days away according to Tinnion on the 4th June…..
It's all smoke and mirrors in the Bristol City public relations department and just because of that sad fact please ignore all communications no matter how great they may sound at first glance. How many years are we destined to hear those magic lies that we will be hiring a new #9, #7, #5/6/23? I can remember so many of those promises coming down the pipe at various times over the last 10/15 years and yet here we are again listening to false hope from people who can't even count anything, including their luck to still have a job anywhere in football based on their consistent failure to meet the mandates they spout themselves.

"Could probably use that money better" - Bristol City urged not to push the boat out for Scott Twine deal https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/c...ot-to-push-the-boat-out-for-scott-twine-deal/
Bristol City's dip into the transfer market is usually like re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Our commitments over the years to strengthen the squad in selected areas has never truly come close to the words from the top would have us believe and I just see us wandering around in cyberspace not knowing our right foot from our left, based on some of the crazy decisions made over the seasons. No mention has been made of the futures of Cornick, Mehmeti and Wells, all of whom should be moved on for whatever monies we can get and those fees probably might get us a new toilet attendant. Like many others I would like to see a radical change of philosophy from the top that would enable Liam to do his thing but the old tried and failed method from the past is the more likely scenario when it comes down to realism. How nice it would be to see us hit the ground running with a squad that gives us exciting football and hope for the future but unlike the Tory politicians I am not putting my money on it actually happening.
Would have been nice to see some signings but there has been very few in Championship as a whole so far, as ROD says once the euros are over ...... guess we might see some movement on Conway now the jocks are home. And we have the three January signings Bird, Stokes and Murphy all effectively summer signings
I think his point was more we’d pick up the crumbs. The end of the euros will signal the movement of players further up the food chain, the trickle down hopefully will end up with us making some signings.
