Well yeah, it's why I hadn't realised that they were so close to the bottom 3.

No idea who is playing who down there tomorrow, but Pompey must be away to someone. And their away form isn't exactly something to shout about.
 
Stop being beastly about lovely old Pompey I used to be horrid to them until I was told I had to stop if I wanted to continue posting.

Now I think they are the loveliest friendliest, warmest most generous of football fans who really love their club and it is a complete myth that they don't like us one jot.

I hope they win tonight as it would be awfully disappointing and would be upsetting for their fans should they drop into the relegation zone.

I understand that they are going to be generous and welcoming hosts when they play us in a few weeks and I am looking forward to reports from our fans that attend the game.

As I understand it they are such a nice bunch of supporters that we can expect cheers of "Oh well played Saints" and "That Lallana is great isn't he" from their fans as well as warm applause as we come onto the pitch.

All these years we have misunderstood the Pompey fans and it is time we put behind us any unkind thoughts about them.

Consider for one moment that if we, as football fans, stopped actually hating them [frankly, I don't know where you get the energy to bother] and just considered them as our closest rivals in football, we could all have an excellent time, while we're in the same division. It looks like it won't be for long, anyhow.

Excuse me but if you read what I have said you will see that I have been most complimentary about our dear neighbours and not one word of hate appears in my posting. I now consider them all to be my closest friends and if one or two people are to be believed I am SB3's alter ego. God bless him he is such a love.
