Are you thinking of St Paul de Vence in Provence by any chance? Lovely spot. Resting place of Belarusian artist Marc Chagall. About 40 mins from Nice. https://www.google.com/search?gs_ssp=eJzj4tTP1TcwMSuMrzRg9BIoLlEoSCzNUUhJVShLzUtOBQB_QQkg&q=st paul de vence&oq=st paul de vence&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqDAgBEC4YQxiABBiKBTIHCAAQABiPAjIMCAEQLhhDGIAEGIoFMgwIAhAAGEMYgAQYigUyDAgDEAAYQxiABBiKBTIMCAQQABhDGIAEGIoFMgwIBRAAGEMYgAQYigUyBwgGEAAYgAQyBwgHEAAYgAQyBwgIEAAYgAQyBwgJEAAYgATSAQkyMzkzNmowajeoAgCwAgA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#eim=CAEQDBoRNDMuNjc5MjkzOTQ0MDM1MTMiETcuMTQwNjg1NDQzMDgxOTg3
I want to try one of the canary isles been to Tenerife loads of times But none of the others Recommendations on which one and where to go please?!
We was in Brittany for the two weeks so it's somewhere round there. The church there is summat you'd see in a Robin Hood series like the rest of the town.
Bit early but any recommendations for a 3/4 bedroom villa in September (2025)?Needs to be close to beach, amenities, somewhere like Portugal Btw DMD and OLM, this site has a rubbish search filter facility will you have a word
Very much depends how busy you want it. I like Corralejo in Fuerteventura, which is quieter than most of Tenerife but still has some life and is a boat ride away from Playa Banca in Lanzarote, so you can get a look at that too. On Gran Canaria, Maspalomas or Port Morgan are very picturesque but more expensive, Puerto Rico is hilly and more touristy.
Ah. Could be Tréguier peut-être ? No sign of Little John https://www.google.com/search?q=tréguier photos&oq=Tréguier &gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqBggDEAAYHjIHCAAQLhiABDIGCAEQRRg5Mg0IAhAuGK8BGMcBGIAEMgYIAxAAGB4yBggEEAAYHjIGCAUQABgeMgYIBhAAGB4yBggHEEUYPdIBCDgyMDJqMGo3qAIAsAIA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 https://www.gettyimages.fr/photos/treguier
I think you've found it mate, beautiful place and you could only drive around it if you lived there. I've always wished I could've gone back to Mont St Michel, it's been one of the regrets of my life that I never got to see it all, stunning place.
Off to Albufeira in a couple of weeks, right between the old town and new town - any recommendations?
Depends what you like. We use to hire a car and drive along the Algarve, some amazing beaches from fisherman’s coves (not many left) to smaller towns. Albufreira old town is lovely. The strip is livelier, though we always go just out of season. I love the place, we’ve been half a dozen times and looking at renting a villa for whole family next year.
Interestingly, our Formentera hotel is hosting Fillipo Inzaghi’s wedding party with much partying going on.
I’ve been to Puerto Rico, Chazz. Thoroughly enjoyed my two weeks there, one of the highlights was copping off with a hefty lass from Warrington. Resembled a portly Milandra Burrows. Happy times.
