fail to see what any of that has to do with the bolded part of your post .

We were talking about the risks and side effects associated with meds. I mentioned that to be prescribed it would be for a specific treatment. So you would weigh up the benefits vs the risks beforehand.

You then mentioned MMR, but MMR unlike Covid vaccines were tested before they were widely used. And despite Andrew Wakefields claims, they were proven in the main to be safe.

The Covid vaccines were labelled as safe and effective before they were released. But our only testing was ‘in the field’ so to speak. And it turned out that they weren’t safe for everybody. Nor were they effective in the prevention or transmission of the disease.

Anyway, this is boring now. It all belongs in the Rona thread and it’s been done to death.

I blame @Sucky for bringing it up :bandit:

the Covid jab was a vaccine and therefore can only be compared to other vaccines and they were tested in the same way as other vaccines the only difference being the time frame was shortened which is what was my main concern .
but yeah pointless discussing any of this really since its all done and tested .

My son's boss, an affable cockney who runs his own landscaping business, said to him the other day, "That Nigel Farage is really just an ordinary bloke, isn't he?"

Country's ****ed.

It's populism mate.

Appeals to all idiots regardless of class or background.

It was rolled out at speed and as a consequence some fairly serious side effects weren’t disclosed. The vaccines injuries compensation scheme should deal with that. But I think there are probably hundreds of thousands of cases where it will never be acknowledged.

Given the benefit of hindsight. It now looks as though the risks of the jab outweigh the benefits certainly for people under 40 with no other co morbidities

Ipsos’ first Scotland poll since the General Election was called, taken 3rd to 9th June 2024, indicates a very close race between the SNP and Labour in Scotland when it comes to voting intention, with both parties on 36% of the vote.

55% of voters say they have definitely decided which party to vote for, while 42% say they may still change their mind before polling day. Those who say they’ll vote SNP or Labour are surer of their vote than those who say they’ll vote Conservative: 63% of SNP supporters and 55% of Labour supporters say they’ve definitely decided, compared with 43% of Conservative supporters.

The NHS is the number one issue impacting people’s vote. 33% say this is a very important issue which will help them decide which party to vote for, followed by the economy (18%), Scottish independence/devolution (17%) and education (16%). These are followed by immigration (14%) and the cost of living (13%).

Among potential voters in Scotland, 39% expect they’ll vote mostly according to what is going on in Britain as a whole, while 33% say they’ll vote mostly according to what is going on in Scotland, and 27% say they’ll vote according to both equally.

This is a country screaming for independence… if you believe the Scottish Nazi Party propaganda.

So Farrage said his focus is on 2029.

seems like he knows that reform will win less seats than the greens and then continue to grift for another 5 years.

Shhites were bombarding me with Tory leaflets today, some crap from Rishi in the form of a letter, another from a local mp, and another saying a vote for Reform is a vote for Labour lol.

Modern world mate. Society is the absolute pits at the minute.

Surprised that hardly anyone outside me commented on that tbh. Awful post.
You on about my post? <laugh>

If so get a grip it was a joke ffs

of course it was, I knew soon as he posted it he was looking to start an argument. Eventually my goodwill is going to run out and the old brb will be back with the hammer.

Nope not hard at all. You've merely used up all the goodwill, chance your luck if you want, but you will be gone.

Trouble is all this tax avoidance money has given you excess weed which has turned you into a dribbling attention seeking mess. Your daily crying on here is at levels never witnessed before.

He’s right Sucky. You’re a good lad but it’s like you aren’t happy these days unless you’re being edgy and showing us all how different you are to everyone else.

It’s a self esteem issue bro. I learned all this on my online psychology course that I got a certificate for.
