Good first half, turgid, uninspiring second half. Serbia changed it up after half time and we didn't match them. Not good looking forward...

We're in an excellent group for us. All the other teams are decent but teams we should beat, I can see them all being close games. Overall it's better than wiining 9-0 against Gibraltar and everyone talking about winning the tournament, it'll allow us to build up and see what works with our team.

We should defo be qualifying from this group. You may be right about building up. My worry is the harder the opposition becomes (in the knockouts) the more we'll play this way.

I don't mind having a defensive approach when needed, my problem is I didn't see any identity or style going forward. If you could see that at least you can say, ok we had to defend but we had our chances going forward and created plenty. That is what's so disappointing. We created fck all and hardly opened them up.

Some proper gems in that team, it's purely down to how **** Southgate is.

It’ll always be defensive under this dope.

Watching how Nagelsmann utilised his midfield and attack the other night and then seeing how Southgate uses his is ****ing depressing.

He’s been an anchor weighing us down for years but because there’s enough quality in the team to still do well even with his ****e tactics the media and FA thinks he does a good job.

Yeh it's a quality squad. Left back is causing us all sorts of problems but otherwise it's bloody strong and technically very good. Shame about Southgate.

We still got the mighty Cole Palmer to start yet. Not forgetting Eze and Toney. Let's not play our cards all at once, slowly slowly.

Hopefully the Germans peaked too soon, afterall it was only Scotland.

then they won’t go far coz Southgate is steering that ship

anything other than winning it is meh

we have been failing and almost winning a tournament for decades

Nothing changing

going out in a whimper when the time comes
