Euro 2024's are officially almost here.
Time for the official "Forum Pool". First 12 people to sign up will be added to the game. You will get two teams. One from the top 12 teams and one from the bottom 12 teams. I will have ChatGPT randomly assign everyone one team from the "Good List" and one from the "Crap List".

How this will work.
You will be assigned points based on two factors.
1) How your teams finish. 2) How you predict your team finishes 3) Getting Top Scorer
For part 1, for each team will grant you:
10 Points if they win the competition.
8 Points if they are runners up.
6 Points if they get knocked out in the semis
3 Points if they get knocked out in the qtrs.
2 Points if they get knocked out in the round of 16
1 Point if they are eliminated in the Group stages.
For part 2 you can earn 10 bonus points if you can predict exactly where your teams will finish. You get zero points for not predicting exactly. So if you predict your team will be runners up, but they win the whole thing- you get 10 points for winning, but 0 points for not predicting it exactly. The prediction is an all-or-nothing thing. If you predict your team won't make it beyond the Group stages, and they don't... you get 1 point for being eliminated in the group stages- and 10 for correctly predicting that- for a total of 11 points. (which would get your more points than if your team won but you didn't predict it).
For part 3 you will also get 5 bonus points for the tournament top scorer being in one of your teams. If multiple players share the same number of goals- each of those players will earn their respective teams 5 points, unless they play for the same team. You can only get the part 3 5 point bonus once per team.
Your final score will be the combined result of part 1, part 2, and part 3 for BOTH your teams.
Maximum points for one team: Winning, predicted to win, and having top scorer is 25.
Sign ups end and I will get ChatGPT to assign teams when we have 12 people sign up. If we don't get 12 people sign up before the 12th, I will close the sign-ups anyway...
