I actually agree in someways, that's why I see the stuff with City as funny, because it fooks over the top six competitors, the game had already gone once SKY came in on the game, so City can't destroy what has already been destroyed, a working mans game, just like Thatcher would have wanted. As soon as you start paying players ridiculous wages the game has gone. Everything is subscription now, and unless you again cheat the system you have to pay through the nose. The whole concept of the Premier League has brought about cheating, but on a far grander scale. Who imagined that OUR game would become the game of billionaires, it was a monster that SKY created because it brought about new levels of greed. The thing is the ones that don't like City's cheating are generally the top six clubs, because they can't dominate the silverware anymore and whether your name is Alex Ferguson or Geroge Graham, you've all had your fingers in the pie at some point during your career, but proving it is another thing, much like everyone crying over Man City. The levels of cheating has also increased on the pitch, with Arsenal players diving all over the shop, like they've been shot, butn Arteta got sussed once again, by good ole Pep. And the more money Prem clubs pay for players, the more expensive it makes it for all of us lower down the tree, look at the money going into the National League now, the name Wrexham springs to mind. Players transfer fees up, players wages up, whatever the Prem does affects all of us in the longer term. People moaning last season it's the same old Chamionship clubs, well sadly the Prem created this monster and it is what it is now....people want to blame City for it, those same people need to buy themselves a mirror.
