Spurs are no longer a serious football club, over two decades we have slowly been turned into a brand / business where winning silverware is not the priority. Levy has played a blinder, almost genius, he has bred an acceptance of failure and convinced many fans that it is no longer possible for us to win trophies, despite paying the highest prices in world football. Conte hit the nail on the head, there is an ingrained losers mentality which has been created by the owners, and sadly too many fans are satisfied with a shiny new stadium and a day out.

Wait until you hear about Arsenal...

1. In the 18 yrs before Enic we won an FA Cup in 1991 and a league cup in 1999 and made an FA Cup Final in 1987.
Under Enic we have won a League Cup, been league runners up, made a CL final in 2019 and 4 league Cup finals in 2003, 2009, 2015 and 2021.
That's a very similar record.

2. I have no idea if you go to games mate but why mock others that do?
There's a whole reason fans go to games and few, if any fans of any club, go in order to see trophies being won. That's why Villa fans, Toon fans, Everton fans, Sheffield Wednesday fans, Leeds fans, etc keep turning up even though they've all won nothing this century. Blaming fans for continuing to support the team is bizarre IMHO.

I think our record would look significantly better if not for the financially dodgy entry of Citeh and Chelski into the equation. They hoovered up a lot of trophies which would have been distributed elsewhere. It's not sour grapes, they should not exist in their current form.

As for "no longer serious", it was indeed serious when I was going regularly in the 70s and the most we could hope for is an outside shout at a UEFA cup spot. The earlier picture of the baldies plus Ange also included the comment about the "traditional" top 6. There have been many many years when Spurs were not among them, indeed the "top 6" I think is more of a recent Sky invention to cover the rise of Spurs because they used to refer to the traditional top 4... of which two of those clubs didn't deserve to be there!

All in all this is a very successful period, and if you are only here for the trophies you will probably disappointed very often.

Paul O’Keefe is claiming that we’re in talks with MSP Capital over a potential investment in the club that could lead to a 40% stake.

That implies £1.5B of investment which would be sufficient to clear the debt and allow major transfer investment for several seasons. I can't see the financial logic in clearing the debt though as it is on very low interest rates so perhaps they will buy some of ENIC's shares instead.

This is a 6.5/10, not great not terrible, looks like it’s trying to emulate the 05 shirt.
If you want to purchase one though, it’ll set you back either £85 or £125 for the “elite”.
Think DHGate could be getting quite a few orders.

Looks like a set of PJs I bought at M&S a few years back

Looks so tacky.

Nike has been an extremely underwhelming partnership. Typical corporate laziness.

When does our deal with them end?
