I don’t know who does it, but our social media at present is bloody marvellous. Hits just the right balance between serious / informative and self-effacingly daft.
No I don't think thats it. Honestly, I think it's probably more to do with a kind of relaxed patient attitude which I'm sure can be good and bad depending on the situation.
3 and a bit weeks isn't that long for appointing a manager from a cold start. Especially at a time when most of the european football industry is holidaying with family. If you want 'patient' have a look at Sunderland.
Norwich have also at the same time as appointing a new head coach have appointed a new assistant coach who was in a different country to the new head coach. Don’t praise anything Norwich have done though, some will be foaming at the mouth with indignation.
It’ll be pronounced “Valter”. Think of the Count from Sesame Street. “Von, two, three goals ah ah ah ahhhh”
I'm talking from the point of it being 95% done, not a cold start. At this stage of the season taking a few weeks to hunt for the right man is fair. Sunderland is a totally different prospect as they don't even seem to know who they want.
l too have been procrastinating over starting that very thread. Since Walter joined, we’ve won nothing! We haven’t gained a single point in the league, won no cup games, not even scored a goal. He’s also signed no one of quality. Disgraceful behaviour.
I'll get some practice in on this thread. I'm not too keen on his beard. Are you allowed more than one complaint at this stage?
Think Baz reported he was spending time with family last week prior to getting stuck in here. And I'm sure Sunderland have a couple of candidates but who they get will depend on which of them goes elsewhere.
