In the (18:30) at Hereford, a Class-5 Handicap Chase over 2m on good ground, the Vendangeur gelding, Tonto Foley, has a decent chance to win this. Jumps boldly and distance is ideal. A negative is that the opening price of 5/2 has drifted, but current odds are still reasonable. Wears tongue-strap as in previous races. Jack Tudor rides for the Christian Williams yard.

5/1 (Ladbrokes) top price at time of writing, on the ATR site.

Bath 17.00 Bittalemon 9/4 looks a cut above these on pedigree and should improve from debut when 6th of 14

Bath 16.30 Cinque Verde looks good value at 7/1

Wonderful. I think laying every horse I select has to be a profitable system. Cinque Verde was overpriced at 7s and, had the 7s been taken, at one point could have been laid off at 4s

Clutching at straws

Won at SP of 9/2. Jumped very well indeed, and was a comfortable winner by over 3-lengths at the finish. Well-ridden by young Jack Tudor (who certainly has a very bright future in NH racing) for the Christian Williams stable.
