I know it's about ability and stamina not muscle definition, but it seems odd to me how both Fury and Usyk look like regular blokes who lift weights once a week when they can be arsed.
I dont think Fury has the genetics to ever look like a fitness model/Anthony Joshua. Think the likes of Haye and the Klitchkos have bodies that just respond to a training camp like that while he's a bit different. Does look fit and strong though. I think you're being harsh on Usyk but I get what you're saying, he looks like he has packed on a little extra mass so Fury has a harder time leaning and cuddling his way to a bully's win. Both look like very deliberate builds to me. Should make for a good fight. When I think about this sort of thing I always look at what Eddie Hall looked like in his prime. Clearly incredibly tuned to his workload but that meant keeping some fatty mass around the middle to help with strength.
Just a really interesting fight. Fury is light and Usyk is heavy. I pick Fury. But that's without confidence. Looking forward to it.
aye, every chance. He got away with it the last time he was cut badly though didn’t he. Really looking forward to it though and I’d like to see Usyk do it.
Some cracking undercard fights to keep you going mate. Opetaia v Breidis and Cordina v Kakache should be good.
I'm happy to admit, I'm a big fight boxing fan, don't really follow it apart from events like tonight. Will watch the undercard though as I've seen lots of people say it should be a good one
It's a really tough fight to call and I actually don't really care who wins, just want to see it. My prediction though is that Usyk stops Fury. I don't think Fury coming in lighter is going to benefit him in anyway. He's great on his feet and has good movement "for a big man" but I think Usyk beats him on those things. Classic Fury of being too strong and wearing his opponent down might have been the better approach in my view. I know **** all like, just excited to see it.
The thing is though anyone trying to bully Usyk has to actually get near him first. Fury did it with Wilder because Wilder has horrific feet, whereas Usyk’s footwork is arguably the best in the business. It’ll be interesting to see what the game plan is for both.
