We can be fans. And give and have our opinions that’s what forums are for.

If we all had the same opinions it would be a boring place.

I think it’s healthy as long as it doesn’t resort to direct insults towards anyone.

I agree. Including players, mangaer & owners.
Otherwise, anything and any one is fair game.

Insults are not good. Criticism is ok. As well as praise.

If it’s a fair comment and without prejudice then that’s allowable.

We can all heap praise on anyone and criticism aswell.

Basically tow the party line, if you don't think everything is 100 percent perfect then **** you bedwetter!

No Nuance allowed you can't pleased with the progress made but point out that was a poor performance cause thats whining!

They love to give it though..if Newcastle win the first thing they do is to run around on here after myself and the others... it's taken well too and that's not the case when the boots on the other foot I find.

When it was Steve Bruce, pardew, Ashley, Joelinton or any one of their preferred victims they were cheering eachother on with their criticisms and abuse.... I didn't like that it was really nasty stuff going on.

They love the high horse Jabs, but history tells us that they are in no position to preach. They can kiss my arse quite frankly...<laugh> I'm someone that credited Bruce when he did well and vice versa... that's how it should be... that's fair isn't ?

I gave up on the match thread last night cos it was massively bed wetting.

I think we'll beat Brentford and get 7th and get the conference when City slaughter Man U in the final. So there.

I just want the best for Newcastle United, for us to keep aspiring and to progress continuously.

I never bought into “support the team not the regime” or “we want a team that tries”. Richest league, 52000 fans, captive fan base and rich (ancient) history. If I think we’re doing stupid things that are setting us back - picking Almirón, Longstaff, Murphy, buying Barnes, sticking with Howe, etc - then I’ll speak up about it as is my right as a fan.

Roy Keane was spot on last night when he declared there needs to be an attitude change here. The' little old Newcastle it's OK to have a go attitude' is poisonous.

He's absolutely nailed it!

It is an attitude thing. It’s in our dna to fail. It’s become ok to be losers.

We have a happy mentality at the club. Not a winning one.

Look at some of the phrases that have been plastered around the stadium.

Be the best version of yourself. That’s all well and good. And yes do so. But if you want to be a winner. You have to be ruthless.

The owners say they want to win a trophy. They have to therefore become the best.

There's no winners at the club and even the fans are too afraid to want to win anything. The only cure is winning a trophy and the only chance is the conference league.

I'm really hoping for 7th, but I can literally guarantee they'll lose at Brentford and that Man United qualify for it and win the competition.

8th has some advantages, but somewhere down the line the demands need to be massively increased.

2.5 years in and a spend of €469m.

Maybe 8th is where we should be given where we came from?

Last season was largely down to luck I think. The likes of Man United Chelsea Tottenham and even Liverpool all had bad seasons in the same season amd the door was wide open.

Newcastle like you say are probably where they should be and where they probably belong. I would think they'll be floating around this kind of league position for a number of years now.
