Is he injured or what? I saw him earlier in the season and he looked slower than a weekend in Cowdenbeath.
He might appear in that huge midweek European match in Hamburg, hopefully Aluko is paying for the travel costs ???
He was on the bench yesterday but didn't come on. I think the signing of Aluko is a clear signal that McCoist doesn't think Ortiz has what it takes. I believe he'll be punted as soon as we can get someone to take him.
I would rather we punted aluko. he is a complete waste of space. has no skill, falls over the ball or sometimes just falls over. doesn't ever want to pass the ball and would prefer to try a shot from an impossible angle rather than give the ball to somebody in a better position. we could have been out of sight against killie if he had decided to play for the team instead of himself. give him back his bus fare and let him go back to whoever didn't want him in the first place.
