See my first post in this thread Syd. The point isn't about disrespecting Gary Speed or his family. It's those who push their mock grief in your face on an internet forum.

Personally I think that we go overboard in this country. For most people it has **** all to do with respecting Gary Speed but merely just a chance to pretend how much they care.

Have a personal and genuine thought about the Speed family or make a donation to a suicide or depression charity. But don't come onto a forum post "RIP" and pretend you're some sort of humanitarian. <ok>
 
I've said my piece, and have no great desire to engage with you guys any longer. I know that you'll continue to think you're hilarious no matter what anybody else says. I only hope you and those close to you are afforded a little more respect if something awful was to happen to you. Somehow I don't think you'd find it such a scream if it was your brother, dad, or mate who had been found dead.

Shut it you. Everyone has lost someone at some point. Many of them in tragic circumstances.

Yet some of us find it better not to pull out the hankies and dab at our eyes like an auld woman. The greatest comedy of all is life and the darkest comedy is death.

In nearly 12 months of using this site, I never would have guessed Venom would be the one to fall victim to sanity.
 
As I said in the other thread this is causing too much trouble for me. Someone is going to be upset no matter what position I take but I've decided that we should try to move the conversation on to something less provocative.
