I thought Twine had returned to Burnley.
He has mate, this is just journalists blowing smoke up our proverbials early season and me being a loyal messenger, carrying the message forward, just like the old days with the pink un and green un and green buses plus barton hill and standard 8's...

You brought back some memories there Wiz and my dad could have been the conductor on that bus you showed. As far as Devante Cole and his ability at Championship level you may remember Smodzics who, by our opinion, was not up to the task - so who knows, but he is getting on in years and has never reached our level yet.

Bristol City's retained list represents Liam Manning's first real gamble as Robins head coach
Bristol City have confirmed that Andy King, Matty James and Andi Weimann are leaving the Robins when their contracts expire

Is it really Liam’s gamble? Is LM the man dictating the retained list?
I very much doubt it.
IMHO It wasn’t with ANY of our managers - LJ and Pearson included - and now Manning.
All our managers have had to work with the players given (and taken away) by the suits.

I reckon Williams is staying

That interview was before the retained list was released. In theory both Williams and James were still in talks over their future at the club, so could have both stayed. Williams will weigh up our offer against any others he may have before making his decision.

Bristol City season player ratings: O'Leary exceeds expectations, Dickie proves a delight
Bristol Live grades 22 members of the Bristol City first-team squad following the 2023/24 season

I have been very critical on here of Tanner over the last 2 seasons; however, for me, he was our most improved player this season by a mile. He now looks like a defender who belongs at this level!! I hope his progression continues next season.
