My step-dad plays to quite a good level with some ex-pros. Meant to be good fun.

I hear Westminster are considering Fondling Football for MPs.

 

Seems odd to me that a sport like walking football, clearly designed for those that love to play the game but perhaps aren’t as nippy as they once were, should be criticised as dull in that way. It’s not a far cry from dissing the Paralympics because the competitors there aren’t able bodied.

 

It’s a nice way for relatively immobile people to get some exercise and for the real oldiewonks it might be the only socialising they do. Anything to get this hideously obese country more active has to be a positive.
