Tbh I haven’t got a clue about any of them which I suspect applies to almost everyone else. The owners are investing a lot of money and appeared to have done their homework so I don’t think they will have decided to just employ a c grade plodder.
in his back yard. Even stevie wonder could have spotted them kicking a ball against Selhurst park walls.
Olise was signed for £8m from City. Eze was signed from QPR for £17m, Anderson from Lyon for £17m, Wharton from Blackburn for £18m
All 4 I would have mind. Wharton looks a class act if u am honest. Olise and Eze are class but both have injury problems. Anderson I wanted us to sign before he went to palace.
Any truth in the rumour that Ashworth doesn’t want a settlement between us and the Manc’s as he would prefer gardening?
We were looking at Wharton when he was at Blackburn. No idea why we didn't go for him as it was clear he is going to be a top player.
We do a lot of 'looking' at players. Even when we buy it often feels like a really protracted, plodding process. Let's not revisit the issues of last summer and hope they've learned lessons.
They can't buy everyone... they bought Tonali and if they'd bought Wharton we'd have been underwhelmed. It's not inconceivable that Newcastle buy him after Guimareas decides to leave. They don't just lose complete interest in players they keep watching them.
I have just read that many are going to play the waiting game for Ashworth. They think they have us over a barrel because they think we need the income for the deal in before 30th June.
Obviously some bad accounting advice……. Hang on, didn’t you get locked out your account due to it being a previous works email address????? You’re not working for the tramp are you?
