Leicester will/could be the first Premier league/FA cup/Relegated team who gained promotion on a £60m wage bill to start the season possibly on minus points.

but as you said, strange that Chelsea and City are immune.

not seen that. Would be nice to have had the points back, the additional prize money helping with the FFP stuff.

where were the wealthy alternatives when Moshiri was touting the club around.
Chelsea are OK for now as Abramovich was cooking the books (legally) by issuing new shares and "buying" them himself but the next Chelsea accounts will be very interesting as then itwill be 2 accounting years of the new ownership .

Sadly, looking into it more, it seems MSP would be willing to let the club go into administration to pick up cheaply.
Then pick up a 1bn stadium in the deal

I don’t think it was ever his money, always sus with Usmanov. This being the reason he isn’t funding now.
Said to Tobes, it was all for the stadium and development in northern dock area. Never football.

City had 5 years of billionaire money before FFP came into effect, Chelsea had 8. You Everton and Forest all invested after FFP came into effect.
I'm not saying they haven't done anything dodgy, but they can justify their spending, both being reigning and recent champions and CL teams before FFP started, and having years of heavy investment in the years prior. City are also pretty good in the transfer market, their net spending isn't as high as people think it is, their 5 year average is well below Arsenal's, almost half. They generally make a profit on their mistakes.

I think the current format was getting a bit tired so welcome the change. It’s probably too many games but I think it could make it a bit more interesting

I can only talk for Spurs but their debt is all financed and accounted for and the future of the club is secure. On the other hand Everton are a shambles financially.

he did have money but yeah the real money was Usmanov , from where all moshiris money came from , plus the sanctioning meant Moshiri gave up his lucrative Directorship with USM

For me personally I prefer a straight knock-out competition like the FA Cup, but the FAC adds the glamour of non league teams. I liked the old European Cup format, rather than leagues, because unless your team is in it (which mine never will be lol), then it all becomes a bit stale - because with the leagues, there is no instant thrill of someone being knocked out or even merely losing, because you know in a few weeks time, it's all go again. Also I get pissed off with BT now TNT (Discovery plus) having all the rights to it, although suppose it's a good excuse to go down the pub and watch it for free, but you seen the price of beer these days! <laugh>

I’m always a bit bemused when Fosse goes on his “big 6 finance” rants. Unfortunately for Fosse, Leicester along with many other clubs including my own, are responsible for FFP after going into administration. Leicester’s past and current plight is purely down to club mismanagement. In Leicester’s case, they entered administration, defaulted on the stadium payments, were fined just as they returned to the PL and have now overspent again. You could argue they are serial offenders who should have the book thrown at them.

The best thing I've leaned in life is to not listen to people like Fosse or anyone talking about finances.

So Klopp's childish anti-ref rants throughout the season mean if he gets one more booking (in the game against Wolves) he will be banned for his final game at Anfield.

Like a good little boy he's promised that he "will be on best behaviour" for Liverpool's next game. PGMOL have welcomed this grovelling pledge and said they're willing to give him one last chance.

Sucky would struggle as we all know. The cOnSpiRacIes he's been triggered to rant about by Klopp run deep in those high blood pressured veins, but the question is will Klopp? I'm saying no, unless Wolves take the lead.
