Bizarre because even one goal would have meant extra time and Kane is the first man you’d want in a penalty shootout

Yeah disastrous management from Tuchel. If you’re two or three goals to the good then understandable but a one goal margin against Real Madrid is never safe. Took his two best attackers off… madness.

Madrid looked utterly susceptible to the break, too. Ragged at the back late on.
Should've chucked Tel on to replace Musiala and had Kane put him in behind.

I get taking Sane off for Kim Min-Jae, though I don't think it was the best idea.
Sane was ****ing terrible all night and Kimmich was getting roasted badly.

After Kim’s performance in the first leg though I’m not sure bringing him on at any point was a good idea. I would’ve brought on Goretzka and shored up the midfield, very surprised he never started/ played.

The linesman was confident that this was a clear, obvious offside, was he?
That's against the bottom of the two Bayern players in the middle, too.

I am sure the anti VAR brigade will applaud this decision which saved several players from risking injury in a pointless phase of play.

I totally agree Goretzka was the obvious change switch Mazraoui to the right and move Davies back to LB, Tuchel completely ballsed up, but then again so did Neuer, who would be a GK, 99% of the game outstanding and one mistake and you cost your team and thats all we will remember.

Awful decision.

Tuchel said the linesman apologised for putting the flag up early.

Not sure how accurate that is, but it looks right. Rudiger's foot plays Mazraoui on.
Wenger still talking absolute bollocks in the background, too.

Bayern's crucial goal is disallowed but it's ok the linesman has apologised.

I am reminded of the Australian wedding that was called off because the beer didn't arrive and the best man has just ****ed the bride.

But later the groom announced that the wedding was back on because the beer had arrived oh! and the best man has apologised. :emoticon-0137-clapp

Funnier if you can imagine Ange telling that in his Australian accent. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Not entirely sure which thread to post this on, but because the accused is still in a managerial post in the PL this may be appropriate...

Are there any clues as to which current PL manager/coach of 2 decades ago is the subject of this civil sexual abuse case?

There can't be too many who cross 20 years in the British game?

Ended up being a step too far for Villa this evening.

They've had a brilliant season overall though and Ebening deserves credit for turning it around so quickly.

I have a very funny feeling they will lose to both Liverpool and Palace and we will have to beat City to get top 4, handing Arsenal the title in the process.

You all already know my opinion on this matter, but if it came to that...

Wid ye/would you ?

I'm not sure the case mentions a manager specifically. I've seen it worded as 'someone significant in football at a PL club', which could mean any number of executives, sporting directors, board members etc.
