Now there is a negative tone to this (I agree with you btw) so the question is, should there be changes or are you a bit underwhelmed by the way Farke is handling things
If I’m honest I’m underwhelmed by the squad in general at this point. They’re not as good as Bielsas promotion team. They’re not even that close. That team at least had a few good enough for transition to pl albeit under a very different system. I can’t see a pl Player among our current crop. I’d give Farke another season with a chance to build his own team partly because there won’t be many better wholll want the job

We seriously need to beef up in midfield.

I am flabbergasted that Farke hasn't moved Ampadu back in midfield, and bought in either Cresswell or Cooper.

Alas, it is now too late. Bringing either player in from the cold to too much of a risk in the play offs.
Why's it too late,no risk at all because as it stands we don't have a hope.Cresswell would bring the added bonus as he can score from corners

Kamara - Frozen out for Gray and Ampadu
Gruev - Frozen out for Ampadu and Kamara
Ampadu not played in his favoured position of CB

All the above three incurred forced changes that at the time made us look better, they were not flashes of inspiration from the coach.

I agree with you, throw Cresswell in, Ampadu used to beef up the midfield, Gray at RB simply because he offers more going forward than Byram and I’d throw Byram in at LB

I might be tempted to drop Rutter too, Norwich will be setting up this week with how to beat us knowing exactly how we intend to set up.

They’ll be instructed not to let Summerville cut inside, they’ll be told to pressure Meslier and told to pressure Rutter as he’ll lose the ball 50% of the time and only give a token effort to win it back.

Finally get in the face of Gnonto as he’ll whine like a child and sulk to the ref setting the tone for the rest of the team

Byram is a better right back tbh

Firpo is OK against the lesser teams when we are completely dominant but we all saw again his shortcomings against a team with even half a clue going forwards.

Just to be clear. Gray, Ampadu, Rodon, Firpo with Gruev and Kamara has produced the best number of clean sheets and winning run all season however we chanced upon it and that’s what I’d go back to. Is Bamford badly injured or bottling it?

Called it back in January regarding Bamford. He'll play well for 4 or 5 games, January window will close, his form will drop off or he'll get injured and not having a striker will cost us. It was said that I wasn't a proper fan.

I even suggested Kieffer Moore as a possible back up before Ipswich got him. I was ridiculed for that too btw. Kieffer Moore has outperformed Bamford by quite the distance since January as I knew he would.

Not sure he’s the type of forward Farke likes? Similar to Piroe? Mind you, we have half of his Welsh team mates here at the moment.

Okay, after a day or so to let the dust settle I’ve had that epiphany moment. I love watching Leeds, it doesn’t really matter which division that’s in. Enjoyed the promotion chase. Enjoy this forum celebrating or bitching about the team. Players come and go so don’t really care who will or won’t be here next season. Will be at my place in Spain for the second leg against Norwich so hopefully enjoying some sunshine and can’t wait for the new season to start wherever we end up.
