An enjoyable end to a season that none of us could’ve predicted in October. I can’t wait for next year already, Marti has shown he has a plan when it comes to recruiting and hopefully he may have a few pounds to spend.
On a personal note it was good to get to a couple of games this year and my boy wants to come with me, happy days.
Now's the time to test where your hatred really lies.....Norwich v Leeds in playoffs....?
Mmm.......not easy at all.

Might not need a new keeper. Think young Walsh in goal looks a prospect. Couple of really good saves, smart reactions, commanded his box and what’s this, actually caught the ball!Pre-season plan.
Select the recruitment targets early and sign them up while other teams are on the beach. Two strikers, two decent goalkeepers and two full backs are the priority. Last day of the window is strictly for loan signings.
Forget moneyball - one man knows what he wants and who to get. Back his judgment.
Increase the length of Marti's contract and notice period if there is one. If bigger clubs come a-sniffing and turn his head they will have to pay.
No more blood sweat and tears replacements who will fight and die for the cause. No more short -term long ball merchants to provide a quick fix.
No more choosing players simply because they have two legs and are free because of injuries. BUT
Continue to stay within a sensible budget. Although nobody has been punished quite the way we were, lots of teams now get smaller points deductions which makes it difficult to achieve the goal of promotion.
SIMPLES
Willock can do one. Not as good as he or his dad thinks. Yes he can turn it on when it suits him. But all too rare. Get ridIt is pretty amazing we got to 56 points.
Who could have imagined that, when we were the worse team in the division with 8 points in October.
This season has been pretty amazing in an odd way.
I have not missed a match at home, that I could easily have gone to, in about 10 years.
But this October...I just didn't want to go to the home match v Leicester , I just could not face the ineptitude and knowledge we were absolutely rubbish. I had really nothing else to do, I sat at home feeling guilty. I had truly given up...in October!!!
I was hearing rumours from a friend on the London football scene that certain players were refusing to play for Ainsworth and his tactics..it could not get worse
Then came Marti...and things really changed, slowly we became a team. We defended corners, we pressed, we didn't give up....and the results came, even when the luck was against us.
I am looking forward to next season.
we have a plan, we have a manager, we have leaders,
yes we need a goal scorer like sczmodics, or Armstrong ( not ours)....and then who knows
I think we have made Willock an offer, and probably a decent offer, and his agent( his dad) will not take it.
Shame....
Good choice ColNorwich to win against Leeds and then lose at Wembley![]()
Absolutely.Forgive me if this has been said already, but how delicious is it that Eustace kept Blackburn up after being sacked by Birmingham, who went down.
I thought the same thing. Birmingham’s owners deserve what they brought about for themselves after ditching JE when he was doing such a good job. A particularly rotten thing to do to what was a young manager who I think was in his first major managerial role.Forgive me if this has been said already, but how delicious is it that Eustace kept Blackburn up after being sacked by Birmingham, who went down.
.....or his brothers????Willock can do one. Not as good as he or his dad thinks.....
