This is interesting, I’ve seen you mention the need for it to be this weekend a few times. I can’t for the life of me work out the relevance / immediate urgency other than that we’d obviously all want it to happen like yesterday!!

so I’m intrigued… Not going to ask you why as I don’t want you to break confidences.

    I won't.

It needs to happen and get sorted by Tuesday / Wednesday mate. Past that, we will be back to the drawing board.

Mid April O'Nien was ranked in the top 10 CBs in the league, just to give some perspective to the tired old ****e about him not being good enough to play CB in the championship.

On what metric. His passing and dribbling ones the take him higher.

    The eye test doesn't.

On Wyscout I believe it was.

No offence but I don't put much stock in your eye test.

    Ha. Fair play.

I did well in January when I said we would finish around 14th.

    Seems I was generous.

Back in from the match and that was shocking! Grandson wanted to leave at half time but I made him stay to get used to being disappointed :emoticon-0105-wink:. It was like a practice training match, no intensity, no movement and no imagination. How Bellingham lasted 90 mins I don't know. MOTM for me has to be Rigg, how a 16 year old can show older lads than him how to play football is astonishing

Obsession with progression, centre forwards are old fashioned, the model, high performance culture, focus on youth :emoticon-0102-bigsm

The usual one-paced, too many touches, slow pensive ****e we've served up post Mowbray.

No intensity at all. As always this season the key moments go against us, the offside at 0-0 then the Clarkey (pass to Clarke and hope he does something class!) effort off the post after taking three on. A joke to have Aouchiche centre forward, I like him, but playing him in that role expecting him to win aerial stuff is just shan as ****. He needs to be in that 10 space off a proper, experienced centre forward that can mix it up against centre halves and give them a tough afternoon (We had one, Ross someone?!).

We dearly lack experience in that holding mid role, again, the difference when Evans ws on and we had somebody orchestrating and telling people about positioning we were much more solid. He even went crazy and put a couple of good balls in behind! I almost got a nosebleed. Compare that to Styles. ****ing hell, nowt against the lad on a personal level but who the hell signed that off?! He is nowhere near the level we need, another shocker of recruitment.

Its a crucial summer, all the stats say if they don't address the above and get the wrong manager in we're in for a really **** time. The club and the fans deserve better.

Personally I won’t hold my breath. There’s a lot of “quality” likely to leave over the summer and we are yet to prove that any who go will be replaced by the same or better. I think it will be a make or break season to be honest and I am not confident it will be the former. There’s so much to do they need to start straight away. No time for a week off even.

Haven’t seen it back but from the north stand I thought Bishop should’ve done better with the first goal. Shouldn’t get beat from that angle, near post
