As said before our worst performance under Cleverly but a win to round off our home games

Asprilla and Kone appeared to be saying goodbye at the end of the game, Kone went down the tunnel before the lap of honour, today was not their best performances but Kone made the pass for Andrews

Did Dennis come out for the lap of appreciation?
Don’t think Kone will go…at least I hope not

When [HASHTAG]#watfordfc[/HASHTAG] were promoted out of the Championship in 2020/21, they won 19 home league games. Yesterday’s victory means they have now finally matched that total in the last three seasons added together.
An amazingly bad stat really - let's hope that TC is the man to reverse it. Early signs are that he could well be - but he needs the backing of everyone involved with the club. Not just the owners but also of those empty-headed 'fans' on social media who have already been grumbling about his appointment. Not to mention from those players who appeared intent on spoiling young Jack Grieves's debut for him yesterday by ignoring him on the field.

Trying to justify the unjustifiable...

There was an even worse one at Villa when Delafoue was clean through and Minger Mings caught the ball and threw it out for a throw in, Mings was already booked but not even a free kick let alone a second yellow or straight red. to add insult to injury Mings scored the last minute winner

A draw in that game would have sent Villa down and kept us up, one of half a dozen diabolical decisions that cost us a relegation we have still not recovered from, and when you see where they are now
