It’s not accurate to suggest we were running around like headless chickens, well apart from Weiman at times <laugh>

Yeah, he's the guy that stopped us being relegated after your hero Cotts (who's just taken FGR down) was heading us that way. The guy that kept us there for 4 seasons, like no manager before him could manage....<laugh>

To be fair their form did pick up towards the end of the season under him after the disastrous appointments of Duncan Ferguson and then Troy Deeney
Had Cotts arrived there a month earlier he may have saved them

Whilst throwing the kitchen sink at it, whilst Nige kept us up 2 seasons whilst having the use of kitchen slops <laugh>

I imagine Nige would happily compare his record with LJ’s , who hasn’t exactly pulled up trees since his departure either.
 
Seriously, I would be interested to know the real reason Nige was sacked.
We can surmise on here but the only ones who really know are JL and NP.

In the meantime I want LM to build on our strong end to the season and with the right additions have us challenging for a top 6 place in the next.
I like how he tries to set us up and sometimes it works really well. Sadly not often enough this season but I’m hopeful and feeling strangely optimistic for next season (for the moment anyway !!)

We will next year -Nige said in the interview he has kept his powder dry unlike JL who spouted nonsense why they removed Nige.

I hardly bother these days.
Liam vs Nige is the new hot topic for the impressionable. Apparently you have to love one and hate the other (you can’t like both) - just like you had to be an LJ ‘lover or hater’ - just thinking he was ok was not an option <steam>
