Now reciprocate...by letting Luongo score the goal that takes you up.
He was a good and honest player for us...and really deserves this

Anyway, what a comprehensive demolition of a side that may well still be back in the Prem next year.
We murdered 'em!
Somebody on X wrote the booing was because they couldn't hear what Mark.was saying and they were hacked off being 2 nil down.

Still a Marti-doubter after that?
Only if you ask nicely.

Well that was a fun evening out.
Farke got his excuses in early in pre match comments, whining about playing twice in five days and saying we were difficult to play against because we play good football and it’s hard to press us. Well lots of teams play Wednesday Saturday Danny, and Sheffield Wednesday pressed us into oblivion here a few weeks ago.
So they didn’t bother pressing us at all for the first 20 minutes or so and played, especially their highly rated wingers, with a sulky petulance that was deservedly punished. They seemed to expect that we would just roll over for them and when we did the reverse they couldn’t handle it. We won just about every second ball the whole game.
We were magnificent and it was great to be there. At no stage did I think we would concede our defence is now so solid and committed. Whereas their ‘statistically best’ CBs let in two headed goals from set pieces- dire, assisted by a keeper who was as bad as Preston’s.
Hopefully we can sign Marti up for a few more years so we at least get some cash for him when he is poached. I suspect we won’t see a fair few of these players again at Loftus Road, a great way for them to sign off. Now I can go to the Cov game for the party!
Thx. Probably best consigned to the dustbin of footie history now.I wasn't there but text a couple of mates who were, after reading your initial post on it, not good to read. One as got back to me saying, the initial booing was for our players abject display, and the only other booing he noted was aimed at a small section of our fans who started a ruck with one another just before half time, then it carried on just after the break, culminating in one of them getting taken out with a busted nose. I've posed the question on one of our forums that a few neanderthals frequent, no response yet.
Hayden and Hodge loan finishes. I’d keep Hayden if at all possible, not seen enough of Hodge, but wages for either could be an issue.Chair to prison, Willock (unfortunately) possibly going, Adomah, Begovic, Clarke-Salter off to bigger things....
Who else do you think?
Must keep Marti above everyone else imo.
Great that the fans got to see Marti and the team sign-off in such great style; well deserved for the support they have given the team that was in such a dire position (I remember fans not even wanting to watch at one stage). Be great to finish the season in big style for the travelling fans too (who have been amazing).Well that was a fun evening out.
