If you listened to the pod you won’t need me to tell you, listen to him. He says himself he’s not a head coach, he can and has coached, but that’s not his role, Clough wasn’t a coach either, I know times have changed but the principle is still the same.
Go on enlighten me.. the principle? In the case of Nige & Curtis it didn't work...... Clough days it was more "boot it up the field lad".......Football has changed if you hadn't noticed <laugh><laugh>

Coaches coach, managers manage, it’s a very simple principle that doesn’t change, as the great man once said football is a simple game, made complicated by idiots <laugh><laugh>

Boring boring Bristol City…..

First the Leicester fans called us the most boring club in the league (all the sweeter that we beat them) - now the Stoke fans call us ‘mundane’ and ‘beige’.
‘Five successive home losses to what must be the most mundane, beige club in the entire division.….’

2 different sets of fans labelled us boring. I guess we must be then - let’s hope we can liven things up a bit and make it 6 successive losses for them!!!

Unfortunately we are a backwater club with backwater ideas.

Leicester and Stoke have won silverware and between them have spent many seasons in the top division.

It's really hard to argue against the points they are making.

Bristol City head coach Liam Manning details scouting mission as off-season brings opportunity
Bristol City are targeting additions in the final third as they look to build on an encouraging end to the 2023/24 campaign

Looks as if they have not decided whom to sign, Manning is off after the Stoke game to watch play offs and go abroad to watch prospects time permitting for any potentials, thats a new twist..

I have said all along that I have never rated Curtis Fleming as a coach. Nige hired him, so the buck stops with him, end of story!!
I actually think Nige would have been better served as a DOF and allowed a proper manager/coach to run the playing side.
