We faced a similar scenario last season between us and Sheff Wed over the last 5 or 6 games so our lads know what it takes and I have every confidence that they will step up again this time round. Running towards adversity is our mantra with good reason and this group of players have been doing it time and time again!! No need to fret McKenna knows what he's doing and we have absolutely no reason to doubt. Just to add that we have gained the highest number of points from losing positions more than anyone else in all 4 leagues! That's one hell of a stat and tells you all you need to know about our team!

A draw tonight between Coventry and Hull would be ideal. Pretty much eliminates both from realistically getting a play off spot.

If QPR can get a draw or beat Leeds at their place on Friday, we’d have some breathing space. QPR need a result to get away from the bottom three.

Then it’s a case of winning the next three. Leeds dropping points on Friday means we can afford a draw, possibly even one defeat, over the next three. McKenna will be targeting three wins. I just hope Burns is back and the lads are refreshed for the run in. I’m cautiously optimistic. Automatic promotion, with our points total, would be the best season since 2000/01.

Best not to worry about all the many different permutations simply because it is very much in our own hands now.

I’m not being arrogant or complacent mate, we have the best squad of players in the league,(only Leicester could be argued as better) that’s thanks to three seasons in the PL and parachute money. Leeds have not excelled this season, our position should be expected due to the players we have brought.

£40m for Rutter, we buy Piroe 44 goals in two seasons for a poor Swansea team and he only makes the bench along with Dan James. It’s not arrogance, it’s simply stating how it is. If you have the quality of player we have at the club, over 46 games you should be top two.

    Leeds 12
    Leicester 2
    Ipswich 2

That’s the table between the top three, with that in mind you can understand how crazy that feels to us should we miss out.

However, Ipswich deserve to be promoted as champions by a mile if all things were equal, you’ve had a marvellous season, it’s all just worked. Yes you’ve had a swing of fortune at times but you’d argue you make your own and it usually evens out.

Despite the banter, if you pip us it will be deserved. I just want Leeds to make Ipswich work for it over the final three games, I want you to have to win 3 out of 3 I don’t want it handed on a plate at the final hurdle.

If you take an automatic spot, congratulations. If I’m honest you deserve one, I just wish it was at the expense of Leicester

Are we that bothered if we dont go up and achieve remarkable double promotions? I rather believe we are, its our best opportunity for years.

The premier league is a bit of a farce, for all the well documented reasons. I don't care much for what it's become, but I would still like to see us having a go. Many of the players deserve a crack, tho quite a few wont make the grade.

I am sure we have all tried to dampen our expectations, and our wildest dreams and thoughts, in case we do get beaten, and we dont rise to the heights we have come to expect in these last 3 games. Yes, after an astonishing 2 seasons, it would be a big disappointment if we're not promoted.

Maybe we are at the peak of our enjoyment of supporting our club, for me its been the best times in 65 years! Even if we dont reach the pinnacle of English football.

So, amidst all the excitement, my thoughts are yes, lets go for it and we all know that the jump between Championship and PL is massive.

But we do have the superb new Club spirit, management, knowledge, remarkable fanbase and hopefully funds to adapt and compete.

All I am saying is it wont be the end of the world, albeit a big disappointment, so need to go jumping off the cliffs of Dunwich!

If you go up, you’ll probably drop back down within 2-3 seasons but it will set you up with Parachute money if done wisely.

I do honestly feel that should you remain in this division next season, it will be a lot harder, it just is second time around.

The thrill of promotion to the PL is far greater than the reality. You’ve still got to believe it’s there for the taking though when you’re so close.

Next season if you’re a Championship team, it’s all about hanging on to your manager

Leeds don't have the best squad. Look what happened when Gnonto wasn't available.

If McKenna moves on at some point, all the conditions that enabled him to hit the ground running will be there for the next manager and it wasn't a fluke that the ownership appointed him.

I couldn't agree more <ok> The owners and Management Team are following the Brighton play book. I hope to God that Kieron stays whatever happens but of he decides to move on we have everything now in place to go and recruit another "Kieron" to step in. This club has undergone such a huge transformation and it isn't down to luck to find us where we are now. I will say with all confidence that we are now the most sought after club to manage outside the Premier League.

Something else to look forward to this week. Ray Crawford will be on life’s a pitch this Thursday. That is going to be rather special.

You make yourself look silly without really trying at times. Feb 2nd was when we started playing Gnonto when James got himself injured, he came into the starting 11 on the back of 5 consecutive wins. Before that he was on the bench alongside Piroe, two players that would walk into any team in this division

"best team"?? Surely the best team is the team that wins the league after 46 games.
I don't agree when pundits said we were the best team in L1 last season...we weren't, we were the 2nd best team after Plymouth

We were probably the best team after the window last season. Anyway, it’s simple - the best team is never Leeds United.

They wouldn't walk into our Team but thanks for the offer! We don't need any Big Time Charlies to improve on what we already have! You may have the "Better" players but we have a better team.

Hull are the form team in the division so its going to be a tough match for us but every match this season has been a step up, and if its the playoffs so be it as we never thought a few months ago that this could possibly happen with basically our LG1 side of last season.

Even then, I’d only take Summerville. Gnonto I rate but if we were going to spend that kind of money I’d sign Omari who has way bigger potential.

Reminds me of many years ago when we were vying with Man City for promotion.

I was speaking to one of their fans who reconned when they got promotion they'd buy such and such players from us.

My response was, when we get promotion we won't be bothering with any of yours as they're not good enough!
