Very decent run but there’s been little or no pressure on us in those games
If we can start next season in the same vein of form I’ll be impressed
Really, according to some/one on here, they were convinced we were in a relegation scrap, surely that’s pressure:emoticon-0114-dull: Also, some of the sides we have not lost to, are under pressure at both ends of the table.
You could argue our whole season hasn’t had any pressure tbh, never really threatened at either end. How about we get behind the manager and the team and celebrate a good run of form.

If the Manager can introduce some consistency into our performances and results from the start of next season then he has my full backing
To be fair, that’s the hardest thing to do, especially in the Championship. This is what I don’t get, we didn’t have any consistency under NP this season, yet everyone defends him, but hold it against LM?

I agree
But the owners made a change of Manager that a lot of people didn’t agree with or like as they saw it as progress, so LM was on to a hiding to nothing from the start
I hope he can overcome the consistency issues that have eluded previous Managers and is given the money to do do
If he has got the right tactics and is given the financial backing who knows where it may lead
But we’ve been down this road before with the owner saying one thing and doing the opposite
Until it’s clear where our ambition lies, I’m on the fence I’m afraid

Same here very much on the fence with regards to Lansdown and his manager.

You can not deny the improvements under LM.. I didn’t want it to happen at the time but now glad that it did..

Seriously happy for you -for me Nige was used and abused by Jonny boy.
Hence not renewing our STs this season.
They can do one not a lot £1200 but time it by 25 years consecutive they had a good chunk not to mention following all over the country.
I don’t blame Manning taking the job I do blame Jonny boy.

I'm like 1For, watching from an armchair these days....bar the half a dozen games with my grandchildren.
I know 2 mates who are definitely not renewing this season.
However, I think interest will return should JL sanction some necessary quality signings.

Can not deny that RP, all from armchair nowadays.. most Saturdays I just can’t get there.. but I do watch every game with interest..
But fingers crossed next season I will make the effort and get down to a few

You could say that JLs decision was brave, as it’s turning out it could be the correct one..
Time will tell.
If we can carry current results and form into the first 10 games of next season, and if money is made available to purchase some quality, especially if the likes of Conway leave, then I will be impressed.
But it's early days yet.

That’s a lot of IFs. I’m a bit less concerned by his appointment of late, he’s become a bit more pragmatic and realised he can’t shoehorn players into positions and tactics that aren’t their skill set.

He seems good at setting us up to play teams, but is still slow to adapt in game when teams adjust to counter his tactic's, and his substitutions seem pre planned, rather than adapting to the game in front of him.

It's City we're talking about here
Lots of if's as we're not known for making great decisions on or off the field.

I hope that Manning works out, I really do, but the proof will be in the pudding when (and if) he brings in his own signings, and we prove we're at least more consistent than we have been over the last few years.

Also he needs to prove that he can adapt and change his tactics when we're playing teams who come to AG not to lose, and we're struggling to break them down.

That's what we've been missing for years IMHO

IMO it's clearer to see where LM's tactics & setups is taking us than when under Nige.....all this early days nonsense was never mentioned under Nige, yet we went over a seasons worth of games at home unable to win....it's head scratching how some get to this line of thought..
If you can't see the improvement that's been achieved under LM then there's no hope.. Even the Norwich fans complimented how well we played..
