That was a hell of a game last night, but you boys still have it in your own hands. If you miss out then we will see you in the play offs...probably.
We will be fresher than the opposition. But we are not nearly as strong away as at home. I don’t think it matters who is playing for stuff. They might play more freely with the pressure off and we are seeing teams battling for no prize. It doesn’t necessarily help us.
Disappointment will still be very raw tho, I think it's better for us than them having a chance to make playoffs
If we turn up then they won’t be able to stop us, it might come down to a lucky bounce or a moment of madness, but we should come out on the right side of at least one of the two games. 50% away win ratio in 2024 says we will probably win one or the other but not both. A couple of draws does us no favours so we need either Leicester to drop points in two games or Leeds to slip up. If we can’t beat Coventry or Hull we will have to just take it on the chin and get behind the lads. We can’t hold back on Saturday and keep things in reserve for Tuesday. Saturday is a cup final.
Looks like we might need to win the last 3. Anyone know whether there is any chance of Burns being back on Saturday - definitely missed him
What a long way we’ve come from that game at the stadium of light, concerned for Hladky and just hoping we don’t get a pasting!
Deffo Yorkie and as much as I would love to go up....to be in this division for a year or 2 more is no hardship. It's a great division, really competitive and great fun!!
I don’t mind the Leicester v Southampton result, they’re screwed for an auto now unless there is a 19 goal swing in two games. 12:30 kick off with a long journey before the playoffs, I’d be amazed if they don’t rest key players against us. If we beat QPR you’ve got to win both away games, if Huddersfield beat Birmingham that’s not going to be an easy last game for you either. Think I’ll be cheering Hull on tomorrow.
Let’s hope the players at Leeds and Leicester are just as arrogant and complacent - the Ipswich players will not be.
