Would be my number 1 choice, but I don’t think he’ll be keen on dropping down to the championship - even if we alter the model.
Been catching up with a lad I know as a coach and he has been working in Germany for the last 6 months. Got onto Sunderland and Still being a possibility. He told me about the lad at St Pauli, Fabian Hurzeler. Very big prospect in German coaching circles by all accounts.
Think his biggest problem was trying to play the same style in the PL as they did in the championship. Had he adopted a more defensive approach earlier in the season I think they could be in a healthier position. Surviving your first season in the Premier League is a massive achievement in itself. However like I said he waited too long to change his style and Burnley may pay the price. I do however think he will develop in to a decent manager
Was my previous account but posted about him after we sacked Beale. Ticks every box for me. Good pedigree, exciting style of play, adaptable, experience with young players.
Bit in that article which irks me - "with their play off dreams in tatters they appointed Mike Dodds" - although highly unlikely we could have still at least try to have remained involved there was still time
Irks me that it was published a week ago and people are copying and pasting and republishing it, still.
It's what the likes of Fishpaste and Roker Report have made careers out of - reporting other people's exclusives and passing it off as their own work
