Yup, he's sort one of those players I've never really taken a lot of interest in, yet his trophy haul puts Kane to shame. I'll have to take more notice - although won't watch tonight. It's a home fixture for your boys, so you should win, but I still think Chelsea are better than they get credit for, just need to take out the me me me, from them. Cole's about the only one with his head screwed on.
You aren’t invited then. Piskie and I are watching on a 20 minute delay with Turkish commentary in his wigwam.
The half time ***gots are worth going for alone. Not a big drinker but people make a point of going there for the beer. All feels very non-league but with money behind them.
We went to a local boozer to start off with there, but after the first pint I was getting pissed off waiting to be served, landlord was so slow. So the guys I was with agreed to go to the ground and have a look - nice day in April (last game of the season) and no hassle whatsoever, got served quickly and could drink them outside.
not sure Ben Robinson is that wealthy tbh . They just got "lucky" with the way things happened unlike the employees of the Pirelli factory .
Yeah nice people from memory and it’s a real terrace behind the goal. Looks like they’re staying up anyway. If I get round to properly attempting the 92 then apart from Brentford’s new ground it’s either Exeter or Mansfield for me so perhaps I’ll take the missus on a tour of the Midlands. She’d like that probably. Annoying Sutton and Forest Green are going down as I’ve done both but not Chesterfield.
used to be a nice boozer not far away ( regularly had bands on ) bit that went to the wall some time ago .
My memory is bad so can't remember the name of the pub I went in, but one of the guys I often use to meet up with lived up North (came from Gillingham), he was CAMRA member so he would always sort the boozer beforehand. All I remember about the place is the bar seemed situated in the corner of the main bar, and it walked through to what I would call an old fashioned snug area, although everyone was standing around drinking. The guy running the gaf was an old boy very manana.
Chelsea have been playing well recently and their results have improved. I think they are unbeaten in 8 and they’ve been scoring a few too. So it won’t be an easy game. Havertz, despite the derision when we signed him, has been a key player in this Arsenal team. He’s scored 8 and been involved in something like 18 goals this season. If he gets two more before the end of the season I get windy’s username and bobbys avatar. If he doesn’t I’m toast lol
was it in town or fairly near the stadium ? In Town would probably be one of the Burton Bridge brewers pubs as CAMRA love them .
You can do better. Make it something like ‘Global Intifada Now’ and I’ll have my door kicked in at 3am.
