after that performance today we deserved to lose. Just wondering what everyone else thought about lallana's, guly's, hooiveld's and a few others performances today and over the last few games. I know that they can have off days but lallana seems to have been quiet for the the couple of games. 1 mistake that davis made was that he did not catch a simple low cross by his near post with no pressure on him. Instead he fumbled it and it went out for a corner. this did not lead to anything but i feel that if we want to be a real contented for the championship this year (which i feel we can be) then we need to cut out these little mistakes that could start to cost us points.

When we are at 0-0 i also thought that the players seemed to try to many little flicks, which i think lead to the ball given away for the first goal. we need to just pass to feet and retain possession at this stage not try and be like barcelona.

So what do you think about certain players form and the way we play some times?
 
i wasnt there but it sounds like NO-ONE did themselves any favours today, with mentions to fox and guly
 
You can't single anyone out after that performance, they were all pretty poor from Davis right up to Lambert. It was just an off day against a side who are in a false league position.

Adam was great against Brighton.
 
Fox and Guly have contributed massively this past 2 months too, if NA decides to change things around then that's fine, but I don't expect too many knee-jerk changes on the basis of one poor performance.

no actually - guly is a player i really rate, but he is so bloody incosistent! and fox has been doing very well for us, deservedly keeping harding out the side
 
We lost one game, that means we have to swap the whole team around. Lol the starting 11 today have been in great form and it was just a blip. We know Guly is inconsistent but you need a player like him in your side because he can win you the game. Fox had a shocker because of the player he was up against. I was at the game and Albert Adomah looks like a class player. Davis, Lambert and Lallana were awful today yet I don't see anyone asking for them to be dropped.
 
We lost for the 3rd time this season and are still top but only by 2 points after 18 games, Adkins out!


Cheer up, draw a blue line and move on to the next game.

Lallana played quite well against Brighton.
Draw a blue line under it and move on to the next game.
 
One lost game and so many negative comments, especially those based on hearsay, come on you lot we all knew it had to happen sooner or later, every now and then we need a wake up call, complacency is a serious problem, but it will always rear its ugly head when you think you are in cruise control, the response we need now is for a fullish house on Tuesday balling the team onto a massive victory, then I will allow you to be critical about the half dozen that we missed. Please cease the criticism of individuals, that for whatever reason you don't like, it isn't helpful and very often you have to eat your words, ask SB3 about fat blokes.
