They could distribute the revenues generated more fairly, that may help. But it’s more than just money for fans of smaller clubs competing in the cups. There are their only chance to see their team compete against the top clubs. Taking a big club to a replay and looking forward to a sell out home game or trip to a famous stadium is a huge part of being a fan. It’s part if the magic they want to dilute and make the Cup pretty soulless
LDL sums it up, I still have memories of a great day out at Old Trafford when Watford were drawn against Utd , I went with some mates and their parents in a coach put on by a local company, very early start ,stop off for breakfast and the game which Watford led until late in the game , pub stop on the way home and then we went straight to the ground to queue for the replay tickets .
Watford were my local club and at the time the were 2 divisions below Utd who had Best, Law,Charlton,Kidd and watford had Barry Endean and Rodney Green , over 50 years ago and a non Watford fan still loved that day

Agree but not because of rustiness.

If anything it’s an advantage. Spurs have had plenty of time to work on defensive issues especially set pieces. I’m expecting to see a huge improvement with that on Sunday even though Arsenal are probably the best team at them in the whole league.
It’s a NLD. Form etc goes out of the window. It’s got 2-2 draw written all over it for me

Ok lads...be honest...did you get this right?

I did! I've posted this rule on here before, discussing stupid rules that never come into effect.
Virtually any match official would get this because it's used to trip people up.
They wouldn't get "tripping an opposition player in the penalty box" though, apparently...

The Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Terry Medwin, a member of our famous double-winning squad of 1960/61, who passed away this morning (Wednesday 1 May). He was 91.

A versatile forward who could play in all positions across the front line, Terry joined us from Swansea Town in April, 1956 and went on to make 215 appearances in all competitions for us, scoring 72 goals.

Terry made 15 appearances in that double season, contributing five goals, and then played his part as we retained the FA Cup in 1962 - he scored in the semi-final against Manchester United and played in the final win against Burnley.

Unfortunately, his career was cruelly cut short after breaking his leg in a tour match in South Africa in May, 1963. He fought on for two years before retiring in 1965.

Thanks to Terry he made his mark
