Just wanted to know where he has gone.....

he was doing great for us then since the start of this year i have not heard him mentioned he has hardly been in any squads.

has he fallen out with nigel or is he injured? even though we have fox and harding i still feel he could do a job for us. cup games coming on in games off the bench.

In the same boat as Butterfield and Forte - and presumably Martin too, once Seaborne returns. We just can't fit them into our matchday squads now that we've added a few extra bodies over the summer and that you can only select 5 man benches.

I believe he was injured for the Palace cup game, and thus couldn't even get a run-out in that game.

i would think dickson is in a boat of his own though, as presumably harding would be 2nd choice ahead of dickson?

i would be so disappointed if i was him. but yeah the reducing of subs from 7 to 5 has not helped him either..

That would appear to be the case yes. But it's not just Dickson who needs to get past Harding. With so few slots on the bench, Adkins often doesn't select any substitute full-back - but when he does it's Harding, not Butterfield. So Butts too seemingly needs to get ahead of Harding, and put his hand up to be selected on the bench.

Was slightly surprised that we didn't loan Dickson out before the window shut last week, but maybe he still has the injury which kept him out of the Palace game?

I thought Dicko had some potential, certainly put in some shifts during the run-in last season.

completely agree there was one game where he set up a goal for lambert (i think) with a great run down the left with so much determination to get the ball in the box

Cork can fill in at RB, hence not having a sub full-back on the bench.

You guys are right, it does seem strange that we haven't sent him out on loan

Yeh that was against Leyton Orient. He also scored a decent goal at Plymouth.

This is why I opposed the signing of Fox. Obviously he's a good player, but Harding is good enough to start and Dickson is good enough to be backup.

Rickie Lambert's hatrick aside, I would've voted Fox for MOTM last week. His crosses, tackles, passes, possession almost all flawless. If was more consistent he'd be in the Premier League.
