Ashley Young conceded 3 clear penalties against Forest. All claims disallowed. Forest have basically accused the VAR official Stuart Attwell of cheating - and he's a Luton fan....
So cruel. 3-0 down, only to be denied by an offside decision that’s as tight as it gets, and then the pressure of penalties. well played, Coventry. Well played. Man United are gonna have to be a lot better than that in the final, or they are gonna be embarrassed.
Leverkusen are just taking the piss now. They went 1-0 down to Dortmund in the 81st minute and got their inevitable equaliser in the 98th.
I’m sure that they want to keep that unbeaten record, even though they could be forgiven for being in party mode now
Bellingham in the 91st minute to give Madrid a 3-2 lead. Been a very decent El Classico, even if it’s not got the same glamour feel it once used to have during the Messi vs Ronaldo era.
The "yellow cards disappear before penalty shoot-outs" nonsense. It makes the caution of keepers during the shoot-outs utterly pointless. Martinez did it in Villa's game against Lille and Onana did it today. Everybody seemed initially stunned and now it's gospel, for some reason.
It implies that the shoot out is a different game, which is clearly nonsense. This is probably a TV driven idea. Shootouts will be more entertaining if keepers are allowed to play silly buggers with impunity.
