Pretty obvious but Jet Plane still lbs in Ayr 2.50 7/2...

Ayr normally a happy hunting ground for me...I cant be there this weekend but I may be further afield at Kempton on Monday ...say no more....hush hush..shhhh!

3.12 Newbury-Mini Punter

Each Way @ 30-1 [Paddy Power]

Interesting newcomer with top jockey booked

The last at Fontwell (16:05), a Class-5 Mares' Novices' Hurdle, over an extended 2m1f on good ground, looks a pretty weak affair? In this respect give a small chance to Ryder's Rock, if she is fit after a 200-day break. Tongue-strap applied as in previous races. Brendan Powell rides for the Joe Tizzard yard.

12/1 top price in nearly all places, on the ATR site. E/W best option.

Stayed-on well to finish 3rd at 14/1, so that was a nice e/w. A gutsy performance from the winner, Bethpage.

Wiltshire wins at 14/1 - I do hope Sir Barney was on at those tasty odds <ok>

When you move Wiltshire to Newmarket look what happens!!!

Wasn't a cheap purchase for his new connections though - 92,000 gns last October. Although certainly repaid some of that this afternoon and if he follows up in something like the Wokingham (is that where they will look to go?!?) then that awful old adage 'cheap as chips' could be appropriate.
