So it looks like a point for Norwich at home to Bristol City on Saturday will mean Preston are definitely ruled out of playoff contention. Handy that our game is later.
Saints still have to play both Leicester and Leeds..... Automatic places going to the wire as well....
Either way its an ex hoop, Mccarthy or Lumley lol. Preston are a decent side just made to look turd by Saints quick passing and movement. If you add to this their clinical finishing from a choice of 3 decent strikers, then Preston had no hope. Unfortunately , we lack quick passing and novement, and our finishing is about as lethal as Kiwi's stable of 40 stone fillies ! There's a ginormous difference between us and Saints. We are gonna have to play our nuts off and hope to somehow nick a win against a side who every time we play them seem to nick an early goal and then spend 85 mins using every ****housery trick in the book . It's gonna be ugly, very ugly , but we somehow have to win at any cost !
We could throw a trio of Kiwis fillies into the Preston changing room 15 mins before the game and lock the door, that should do the trick (especially if you top up the fillies with triple curries and beers an hour before the lock-in).
Rotherham have somewhat randomly appointed Steve Evans as manager with immediate effect so they’re definitely definitely beating Birmingham comfortably.
Awful game, Madrid played for pens and City weren't good enough on the night. Don't think any City player played well bar Walker. Pep overthought things again and paid the price. Doku should've cone on at half time and taking Haaland off for extra time was stupid as Madrid were out on their feet. The subbing of De Bruyne with pens looming was just utterly clueless
Yep. Pep tried to be too clever as he sometimes does. However, Madrid were playing for penalties from the moment City equalised. Anti football from Madrid, but it got the result.
It's what they're the Masters at unfortunately. City were terrible on the night though, and didn't think Bellingham did much either(bar score 1 of the pens).
Bellingham worked his nuts off. They played with no centre forward and just defended. Not sure what Bellingham could do on those circumstances.
