I can't be bothered to scroll back through this and all the other threads but plenty of people say they aren't bothered if a keeper can play it out from the back

I also can't be bothered with back and forth postings.

My stance is that we need a keeper that can play with his feet but that doesn't mean I'm happy with constantly playing it between the edge of the box and centre circle. They are different issues, we need to play it out from the back but also attack with pace at the right time
I wish you couldnt be bothered about making things up.
Also, if people say they aren't bothered if a keeper can play it out from the back
then it doesnt mean they want the keeper to kick it upfield with only 50% chance of retaining possession.

Only if there is someone better to play and we don't know there is.

Don't get me wrong I'm not happy with the near post shots going in but I can't insist on playing someone (Pandur) who I haven't seen play or has ever played a game in England

I'd like to think we brought him in for a reason though. He was apparently one of the best in the Dutch league. Surely worth a chance?

I think a lot of managers bring players in thinking they may be needed from the start of a season due to transfers and releases
that's as well as bringing people in when they want them to play immediately

50% possession around the opposition's area sounds good to me!(without all the messing around).

Tbf I think when Omur came in, they probably didn't expect him to feature as much as he has. Baz was briefing at the time it was more about bedding him in for next season. Assuming it's similar for Pandur.

Well worth a look on TWS forum. Apparently they have blown automatic promotion and won’t go up because every team will fancy playing them because they will beat them. This is the team that has scored the most points since January, followed by Norwich.

Last post on there when I looked says “We Are absolutly ****ing sheit and Farke can go and pack his bags. He has completly lostit”

They have usurped the drama queens label from QPR.<laugh>

But that's why we have to rely on what the manager and coaching staff see on the training ground.
Otherwise we may as well have a fans vote on the team and get rid of managers[/QUOTE]

I got so excited when I read that I think I've sent two posts.

'I like the sound of that. Does that include setting up a more attacking, exciting system as well?'

Ryan Giles looked to be wincing a lot in the pre match shooting drill.....not sure if pain in the groin or just wincing as he missed the target with most of his shots tbh. Delap barely missed on the other hand

if there is one team that can win five on the bounce, i wouldnt back anyone else, id back us
its like marinating the chicken, doing all the prep, putting it in the oven, you gotta trust that the oven cooks it properly
