Then we’re even for penalty incidents then . The guy also should have been off for that quite blatantly deliberate elbow on Gabriel’s jaw. Nothing mentioned about that either.
Not really bcos as I said, it changes the game i.e. all things subsequent to that pen changes so no Saka pen claim. Not saying what the result would've been bcos that becomes an unknown. Would've been a tougher ask if they go 1-3 up though.
Kane was 40 yards from the incident. The referee was on top of it and made absolutely the right call. Saka should've received one yellow for diving and another for kicking Neuer.
They need to score 8 and keep a clean sheet and Ponkie moves to Gaza to open a water park called 'Haram Splash World'. Start praying everyone. "If you will it, it is no dream". Theodor Herzl.
You're living on another planet if that's how you view the incident and what the outcome should have been, CK.
You're making a bunch of assumptions here with a whole load of ' what ifs' that we have no way of knowing would be true. I could easily say the Kane elbow on Gabriel where he (should have been) off changes the complexion of the game and then they have a tough task 11 v 10. The point is you have no way of knowing at all and you're conjuring up a bunch of hypotheticals based on incidents that aren't even clear. Baring in mind Tuchel's post-match comments about the penalty incident have been called into dispute by others.
Neuer’s leg is outstretched and it makes a collision inevitable. I don’t think Saka needed to go down in that situation personally, but Neuer was still clumsy. We’ve seen pens given for way less. When you look at what gets given as a foul nowadays, a penalty should have been awarded. It was the wrong decision to not give one.
It’s amazing how footballers go to ground so easily yet rugby players (both codes) have a remarkable ability to stay on their feet. Heaven help Saka if he was ever tackled by Tuilagi
In Richmond,Kentucky,we had 3 games to choose from.Real v City,Leeds v Sunderland and Arsenal v Harry. Well,Arsenal v Harry was cancelled because J.Callipari UK Basketball coach was leaving for Arkansas so I turned on Real.Watched a stupid goal in the first couple of minutes for City by the Real goalie and switched over to the Leeds v Sunderland game.Watched the goals in the Real match in the postgame.4 disasters and 2 very good goals........COYS!
Saka's got form: It's the Jamie Vardy special. He runs away from the ball and extends his leg into Neuer. You've got penalties for way less, which is why he keeps doing it. This ref didn't fall for it.
None of these appeal much at present, although PSG v Barca should have goals. Atletico are never pretty - like their manager, brutal but effective.
Oh so now you want to review every decision you think is contentious. What shall we include, offsides? throw ins? the way the wind was blowing? Let's not get ridiculous here. There are no assumptions, the first incident of a pen was the handball. The ref blew to the goalie to take the kick, which the goalie did, Gabriel then handballed it from kick off. The ref even admitted he made a mistake, you even accepted in your previous post to the one above that it was a pen. Excuse me if some deluded gooner twitter dickhead behind the goal claims it didn't happen. The only point I've made is that had that handball pen been correctly given, there would not have been that Saka decision to make as everything that follows changes. That's not an assumption, it's a fact.
Did you really just make a suggestion as to what happens if you do something impossible and can therefore never be tested (in this case, change an event from the past and see if everything after it happens differently or the same way) and then describe your suggestion as a 'fact' rather than an assumption? You'll no doubt claim this was tongue in cheek now or something similar...
