Wasn't even VAR'd. Bent af, to quote a certain Livarpool bloke. Elliott kicked AWB's leg and fell. That's it.
Awesome strike from an exciting player. He ran off to celebrate before it even hit the back of the net #bants
It's been a pretty good weekend of football and we've got the win-win of getting to watch both Spurs and Chelsea yet. Surely one of them is going to entertain us further - assuming we're all Forest and United.
they all are but since about a third of the way thru the season loads of fuss was made about re reffing the game and they went with a high bar of clear and obvious error hence very few var overturns these days and yes it was soft .
Looking at the run-ins and you'd 100% pick Man City's. Hardest game they have left is away to Brighton (other away matches are Fulham and Forest) or perhaps home to West Ham. Would be no suprise for them to win all 7. Liverpool have a run of Everton (A), West Ham (A), Tottenham (H) and Villa (A). Arsenal have the hardest run in I reckon with Villa, Chelsea, Tottenham and Man Utd. Edit: Man City have Tottenham (A), missed it as it hasn't been rearranged yet but that's their hardest game left then.
Yeah it's hard to argue with that really. If Arsenal win it'll have to be by getting more points from harder fixtures than both Liverpool and Man City. I don't think you'll do it but if you do you'll have earned it without doubt.
It's hard to call, but I think it will be City that do it. All I can ask of my team is that we push as hard as we can until the end of the season We are top, and in the QF of the Champions league. We are where we want to be as fans.
I still don't think City are good enough to win it this season, not sure what that says about Arsenal and Liverpool. Suppose it's like Rangers vying for the title in Scotland, knowing they (Celtic) have got that donkey Rodgers at the helm, Rangers are still shhite, but the opposition is just as shhite.
