Bad news re Luka and VDV, good news we have Sandro and JD to replace them

I'm worried about JD's fitness though, so I'll go for a draw.

If JD is fit and firing I think we'll win, but I wonder if he's been chucked in as a bit of a gamble because VDV, Luka and Pav are all out.

This seems like a match which will show how far we've come, and what our strength of depth is

More notable is that Pav doesn't even make the bench, with Harry Kane taking his place there. So, three guesses who gets sold in January...

Think he should be fit enough or i don't think Harry would start him,he did score 5 for the reserves this week so he's got his scoring boots on.

If we win today I will really start to believe the sky is the limit for this squad.

We will miss them but we need to be able to perform without them! Hoping defoe grabs a goal and Sandro works well with parker as its a partnership we need to flourish

I assume so. So that's Corluka, Dawson, Rose, Huddlestone, Modric, Kranjcar, VDV and Pavlyuchenko who don't make the bench. ****ing Physio Room, only ones I knew about were Dawson, Huddlestone and VDV <grr>

We're missing so many creative midfielders now.
Kranjcar and Huddlestone have been our for ages and we all knew that van der Vaart's fitness was shaky for the last game, let alone this one, but what's wrong with Modric?

Understatement!...we're fuk'd up front if we lose one of them. :( I'd love Kane to prove me wrong though! :)

    Apparently Modric is ill.
At least it sounds like a temporary loss.
