A remarkable intervention by Alan Duncan.... How attitudes seem to have changed since the three Brit aid workers were killed by the IDF.
You're right, Strolls, Robert Fox, a journalist well versed in military matters was on tv this morning suggesting that Israel might be conspiring to starve the Gazans out. Netanyahu has unleashed the dogs of war, and parts of the Israeli military are now acting without control from above, or restraint. I suspect he'll be kicked out as leader shortly.
Alan Duncan now 'under investigation' by the Tory party. What do they think he might be guilty of, I wonder?
Israel again held to a far higher standard than any other country with this bollocks about stopping arms sales. The Saudis were grand when they were pissing on Yemen but some aid workers died in a war zone for presumably the first time ever so stop everything.
I'd say that Israel isn't held to a higher standard at all, in fact it's been given the green light for too long. October 7th was an horrendous and disgusting atrocity, but the fact that our government (along with the US at the time) said that we we would support Israel in taking whatever action it saw fit was a major mistake. Israel can no longer claim to be defending itself, it's exacting revenge, and its actions against the civilian population of Gaza are war crimes in terms of collective punishment. It shouldn't have taken the deliberate targeting of aid workers to change minds here, we should have called Netanyahu out a long time ago. We should cease our arms sales to Israel, just as we should those to the Saudis.
Let's not forget Hamas are holding 100 Israeli hostages. I don't agree we should end arms sales, but they can be a bargaining chip with Netanyahu to have him reform military practices

Have Weetabix been consulting Goldie for their new advertising campaign? To many croissants and muesli stopping this country being 'Great' again?
Reform would stop black market croissants mid-channel and tow them back to France. We need to cap the number of legal croissants too. They're full of butter and cholesterol, and are undermining the British Weetabix market.
Yes. She's only good for what Col wants to do to her Seriously, I think Starmer would like to be shot of her
Only if we are running out of good ole British stuff Last pack of bacon I bought here Was made from local ingredients and stuff from potentially 13other countries
