FAO: All those wondering how it is possible to make a club hugely profitable without cheating. https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/ne...unUvwLBvzRIGjZs5OrgyLqPtyh_HGpdkRavuSWB6vc1vY
Just to keep it real - at 30 June 2022 Spurs had the highest debt in English football at £853 million ... don't know what it is now - but also don't know why existing debt doesn't appear to be a parameter for FFP etc...
Maybe read the bit about 'debt' in the article. Locked in at rates as low as 2.79% over terms of 19 years or more. Existing debt is taken into account by FFP, but as a pa calculation like anything else, not a lump sum. And our pa debt liability must be hovering between £30-40m, which is pittance for a club of our size.
Can you let the Chelsea board know that please. Because they are persisting with a Spurs manager at our club who has us in midtable. By no means is he the main problem at the club but any manager worth a **** shouldnt have this squad sitting in 12th. All we heard at the start of this season is how Poch is the best thing we got going for us....
I'd argue it with anyone. Its a completely misguiding opinion being 5-9 is somehow a massive achievement right now. Look at the clubs in those positions, except for Brighton, they're the teams who spend all the money.
I agree though, for a club like Brighton who have made record profits of over £120m and have only been a PL club for a few years, top 8 is amazing. For Chelsea and Man United, anything outside of top 4 is an abysmal failure. For Spurs, West Ham, Villa etc, anything outside top 6 is failure.
This is the Newcastle version of the United fan who is a bit mental. love the comment ‘he couldn’t bite a chocolate finger’
