Another enjoyable read. Thanks for posting.
If we had a goalscorer you’d say there was a play-off possibility. Staying up is about not letting in goals; promotion is that plus regular goal scoring - we definitely lack in one areaPromotion next year under Marti.

After the way he’s turned us around, the style of football he’s got us playing, the player recruitment and the team spirit he’s quickly fostered, the biggest hurdle to him getting us promoted next year, is someone poaching him in the summer. Gonna be a host of clubs wanting him if our form continues to the end of season.
Yep it’s the price of success that clubs like us will always have to pay. But I can’t see Fulham ditching Silva this summer. What worries meHe feels very Fulham to me. But if it means, assuming safety this season, a good first six months or so next season then he’s off and someone takes over with us in with a good chance of playoffs then so be it. Beale leaving when he did was more about it being so soon and so many players seemingly only being here for him - Salter has proven himself since but Laird, Balogun and Roberts basically ****ed it off.

is that Marti was among several managers Brighton were paying close attention to before De Zerbi was appointed. With DZ on the Liverpool shortlist and quite a bit of tension now between him and Tony Bloom, I can see Brighton having a vacancy sooner rather than later. Just hope they’d have to pay way over the odds to get him

European Cup winners 2027 it is then.I just wonder if Marti, may want to stay with us...and see out the project.
Just wonder....
What project?I just wonder if Marti, may want to stay with us...and see out the project.

I should imagine he was asked to keep us up and ‘then we’ll talk about what’s next’. He knows that he’s done his reputation in this country a lot of good already, which might be all he’s after at this stage, he’s switched clubs pretty regularly in the past. Though I don’t think a PL club would be in for him over the summer. Once they begin to struggle next season he might be on the list if we are still making progress. You don't think Marti sees it that way?
Pastie?Who mentioned the p word

Whatever the ‘project’ is for QPR rather depends on getting new investors in for infrastructure and continuing to avoid FFP punishment.
Marti has switched Clubs regularly but it looks like he's stayed longer than a season at each of his last 3 Clubs in Scandinavia. Looks like he was at Sandefjord 2.5 seasons, AaB a season and a half, Hammarby the best part of 2 seasons. Sandefjord were in a poor position when he took over. He improved them but they were still relegated, then got them back up in 2nd place the season after, and got them to 11th in the top Division the season after that. So hopefully he will want to at least maintain that and want to have a full pre-season and season with us at least. He moves on but didn't jump ship at Sandefjord when they were relegated.I should imagine he was asked to keep us up and ‘then we’ll talk about what’s next’.
