All this we held them we looked good etc
Did anyone seriously think at 1-1 we were going to go on and win it?
I was hoping we might sneak a draw
But really I was waiting for the inevitable

I know a couple of Leeds fans that were convinced we’d nick it, actually. They seemed genuinely impressed.

Any things possible Chazz it's a football game if Omurs shot had gone in who knows, one thing I do know we played well I hate the name calling that our players get by some on the forum their fans are saying " the best team they have seen" yet our manager is not good enough, it's only a football game it's not life and death chill out chaps, I was entertained.

I think Rosie needs one more season. He’ll learn from mistakes surely

I just worry that we will have another rebuild with out of contracts, loanees leaving plus player sales

from our best starting XI on paper were missing a LB CB RW CM and CF next season and Seri is another year older
This isn't just about football .. its commercial from the clubs perspective... its not a gravy train...Acun has sold his dream to others...

It happened at Derby too. You can tell he is an arrogant **** just listening to his interviews so it should be no surprise the players don't rate him either. They know they get blamed for results when it's him setting them up to fail.
Sorry mate there’s a real difference between arrogance and belief in your ability whether it’s unfounded or not . As for ‘the players don’t rate him’ is that one who isn’t playing or all of them Tell us names and what they said . They get blamed sometimes because maybe they don’t pay attention , are weak in tackles , don’t square it to another forwrd in a better position etc , or don’t even attempt get in the box , they hide - there’s a whole mix as to why we fail . Liam sometimes picks a negative side such as the midfield against Stoke , he ‘trusts’ some players too much , all managers do . IMO if a player is not picking up what he’s being told then he’s on the bench , if he’s not fit and his fitness stats show it then do the same . If he’s regularly weak in challenges then the same , and if he’s greedy with the ball or lazy . It’s NOT all Liams fault but he is culpable with the players
I like technical passing side of the game but the speed of play makes it easy to defend against us .

I thought we’d let a late one in , theyve got late goals all season I think , Farke was happy to let us have the ball and tire ourselves out for 70 k owing it was unlikely we would get away - he was right I’m afraid .

And if Bamford had put his boots on the right feet we could have been 3 - 1 down by half time.

There have been plenty of frustrating results this year because they've shown in flashes what they're capable of.

But we've seen gutless performances like Stoke only a handful of times over the season, so I feel many trying to make a generalisation from it are wide of the mark.

Want consistency? Well most of the championship do. So why not just provide it?

Liam unreservedly in.

‘Consistency’ is the end product of ability and belief.

Our league position reflects what’s still missing..

Simple as that really..

Allam’s GONE.

Start-ups rarely make a profit, and it can often take several years. You might have a good year, but you’re still building towards something, and it takes time. I get the same feeling with city and how Acun and Liam are working.

We’ve performed above expectations, but it’s still a long-term work in progress. We’re looking for a system that runs from top to bottom and we’re still off where we’re hoping to be. In my opinion, this season hasn’t been perfect by any stretch, but it has shown that we can and probably will get there.

Once it clicks properly we’ll look like one hell of a team, I reckon.

Rare post in defense of philogene here....tin hat on....he's in an iffy run of form, but he's never stopped trying or working, he gets caught defensively at times but he always has, that's not new, he needs to pass a bit more yes but he had 2 good efforts last night, one wide one over, he's a flair player that's what you get. He's certainly nowhere near the ebiowei levels of not being arsed. I also think there's little coincidence that his form has erred since being swapped to the right, and tbf last night Byram had a great game against him.Bottom line, it happens and I'm sure his next good performance is just round the corner.

The same, actually. Although at 1-1 it still felt like we were losing, a draw was fairly worthless to us anyway.

Farke was far from happy, he spent the entire game screaming at his players and the officials as his plan went out the window and we dominated possession. The penalty was a get out of jail card.

A good game to watch, and we certainly deserved to get something from the game. Unfortunately, having had a good game up till giving away a needless penalty, Slater let the side down with a rash challenge. I've never been in favour of a keeper going up for a corner, as it rarely creates a goal.

Some very good performance on the night, Coyle, Tufan, Umur, Morton & Seri, Giles had a poor game IMO, and Jacob did well when he came on. Carvalho took his goal really well,

Not the Easter we were hoping for, but it was good to see a reaction from the performance against Stoke.

If we can maintain the level of performance of last night for the remaining 7 games, then we should at least finish the season off on a positive note.

Sort of agree but Byron like Townsend of the Baggies stood him up as soon as he got the ball and he got stopped . He’s young he needs to learn an option eg take it sideways infield and lay it off or if we see this we get a man inside of him anyway to give the outlet . It’s about coaching and learning . He passed more for the under 21’s the other week and to be fair he did last night which is good.

He's stopped tugging shirts though...And I'm sure there's been a stat that shows him as being one of the top headers of the ball in European football.
Greaves is ready for the prem, and the main reason he has stopped the shirt tugging is he has worked incredibly hard on getting quicker this season. He will be a big miss as I can't see him staying, macca isn't anywhere near good enough in a back 4 but maybe in a back 3 with Jones and greaves alongside and coyle and Giles as Wing backs, something I'm surprised we haven't tried.
