He doesn't know how to get the best out the talent he has at his disposal..... That right there is the beginning middle and end of it.

If you think we have comparable depth with any established top 10 side after being built from L1 squad in 4 windows then you're deluded. But then we knew that anyway...

Given the churn in the squad I don't think it's at all surprising personally.

And I think that needs to be addressed going forward.

We can't be trying to integrate half a dozen into the first team every window and expect full potential within a dozen or so games.

Morton is playing too well for us to have a chance of signing him. He’s surely off to a lower premier league team next season to develop further
 
i actually dont think we have some insane squad
i think zaroury is average
tufan flatters to deceive but has the technicl ability to score nice goals rarely

what i think is the problem is recruitment

a manager doesnt really have much say
its scouting

its complex

but i think the backroom staff is too inexperienced too with rosie

Luton and Ipswich haven’t come too badly with squads that came up from League 1.

i can guarantee you if ipswich dont get auto, they will finish mid table championship next season
 
the true problem with this club
is it has no long term plan
sunday league facilities
inexperienced backroom staff
inexperienced manager

did people really think some loanees in january are going to propel us to promotion?

We signed a lot of loan players with potential in January, but they were all out of favour at their parent clubs for one reason or another. It would be mad to think they’d all start firing on all cylinders with any manager.

we signed rejects with good technical ability

when luton in 2023 and city in 2008 show you dont need technical ability to get promoted
its more than that
