Club are massively in debt and losing money hand over fist. your wage to turnover ratio is 92%. Without player trading your currently currently losing £130m a year.

Clubs overall balance is -£330m and continuing to lose £130m a year (whilst in PL) £20m of these losses over last couple of years have been down to sacking managers, coaching teams and paying off directors.

Part of that is losing £16m from the Usmanov sponsorship deals. Your entire commercial department for shirt sponsorship, manufacturing, sleeve sponsorship and ground advertising is around £20m per year.

Sponsorships are not being replaced and the commercial side looks non existent.

A relegation and loss of funds if the 777 deal falls through could in effect have the club go bust.

You do have some players that have contracts expiring at end of year and you could sell Onana and Braithwaite......... but these things at present is like trying to plug a burst damn with sticky tape.

Also some company called USM?????? are due £158m this month for some loan.
Fairly certain USM is Usmanovs company who Moshiri is/was a director

yeah, it’s his mate, so I’m sure that the Lon won’t be called in yet.

but as we lost the USM sponsorship due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, I think we should not have to pay it back.

not sure you voluntarily cancelling the sponshorship deal equates to not having to repay a loan from them . Considering how much money Usmanov pumped into Everton and yet now will get nothing back i wouldn't be so sure they will accept non payment .

they sanctioned Usmanov* but not USM afaik and the voluntary nature of the decision is one of the mitigating factors quoted in your accounts.

*They did give enough warning so Usmanov had transferred all his UK houses , estates etc into Trusts where none of the trustees had any connection to him <laugh> so none were seized .

his yacht was held in Germany for a year or so. To be boo eat I did t pay that much attention. I was more worried that USM had first dibs on the stadium naming after putting £50m up front. That will need repaying at some stage too.

Holy moly @Saf

I guess it's what happens when you get to this point of the season and one team has something to play for whilst the other doesn't but 4-0 down at Blackburn at home after 50odd mins is pretty atrocious.

It's actually MSP who are due the money. Story say's they were supposed to be allowed to buy the club, loaned the club money and had first refusal but were then kicked into touch for 777

The whole league is garbage.

Leicester, Leeds and Southampton will get promoted as they still have half a premier league squad and have been given **** loads of prize money (weirdly) to prop them up after being relegated.

Ipswich are a massive anomaly. I hope they go up automatically as they won't win the play offs if they do.

If they do go up, I'll be putting my house on them being relegated straight back down.
