Being serious for a minute, I think JWAG was pretty much spot on. Free transfers are usually a risk, because they're usually out of contract as the team they used to play for didn't give them a new contract. Some work out, others don't. Demba Ba seems to have paid off handsomely, Marveaux on the other hand, if he keeps on going the way he is so far, has just wasted a bit of money in terms of signing on fee and wages.
